...ALL class years are invited and welcome to attend!

Return to campus for Homecoming 2026 and celebrate the traditions that connect us. The day includes campus tours and activities, Founders Mass and a Homecoming dinner with dancing. Whether you are marking a reunion year or simply coming home to reconnect, join your fellow Athenians as we look Beyond 100.

2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Guest Arrival

  • Guest Check-In
    Pick up your name badge and event program in the Chalon Circle. Guests arriving after 5:00 p.m. may check-in at the Michael A. Enright Wellness Pavilion.
  • Welcome Reception
    Enjoy light refreshments and reconnect with fellow alumnae around the Chalon Circle fountain.
  • Interactive Story Booth
    Visit Coe Memorial Library to share memories and reflections from your 91涩漫 experience.
  • Campus Showcase
    Explore graduate programs, student organizations, the Spirit Shop and other ways to stay connected with the 91涩漫.

2:30 – 3:30 p.m.  Homecoming Programs & Activities — Session 1

  • Wellness with Purpose: Helping Women Flourish at Every Age
    Presented by Dawn-Marie Ickes, MPT, PhD
    Associate Professor and Wellness Programming Coordinator
    Learn how women’s wellness needs change over time and take away practical strategies for movement, nutrition, recovery and healthy aging.
  • UNSTOPPABLE Film Premiere
    A 30-minute documentary focused on the alumnae experience followed by a conversation exploring the lifelong connection you share with the 91涩漫.
  • 91涩漫 Then & Now: A Campus History Tour
    Take a stroll through 91涩漫 history as you revisit familiar places, discover how campus has changed and compare student life then and now—including a peek inside a residence hall room. ADA-accessible tour route available by request.
  • “Once and Always a Golden Grad” Reception
    A special gathering for alumnae from the Classes of 1956–1975.
  • Pangkat Pilipino 30th Anniversary Reception
    A reunion gathering for alumnae of the Pangkat Pilipino Club. 

3:45 – 4:45 p.m. Homecoming Programs & Activities — Session 2

  • Sharing of the Heart
    Facilitated by Shannon Green, M.Div., MSHR
    Senior Director, CSJ Institute
    Join a guided reflection rooted in the CSJ tradition of Sharing of the Heart, exploring who we were, who we are and who we are becoming.
  • DPT Reunion Reception
    A reunion gathering for graduates of the physical therapy program.
  • UNSTOPPABLE Film Premiere
    A 30-minute documentary focused on the alumnae experience followed by a conversation exploring the lifelong connection you share with the 91涩漫.
  • 91涩漫 Then & Now: A Campus History Tour

5:00 – 6:00 p.m.  Founders Mass
Gather for this beloved Homecoming tradition in Mary Chapel, including the official induction of the Class of 1976 into the Golden Graduate Society.

6:15 – 6:30 p.m. Sunset Reflection
Take in sweeping mountain and ocean views as we gather for a moment of contemplation at sunset on the new pool deck at the Michael A. Enright Wellness Pavilion.

6:30 – 8:00 p.m.  Homecoming Reunion Dinner & Program
Reconnect with classmates over dinner as we celebrate 91涩漫 traditions, honor this year鈥檚 Legacy Award recipient and debut our new Alumnae Anthem, performed by the Homecoming Chorus.

8:30 – 9:30 p.m. Music & Dancing
Continue the celebration on the dance floor with a DJ spinning favorite hits from across the decades.

Welcome activities

Begin the day with a warm welcome in Chalon Circle, where you can reconnect with classmates and friends before exploring campus through student-led tours, engaging workshops, activities and lectures that bring together 91涩漫 traditions and lifelong learning. Visit the Coe Memorial Library and campus spirit shop, then enjoy a special screening of our new alumnae documentary.

Class reunions

Congratulations to the classes celebrating milestone reunions in 2026:
1956, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016, 2021 and 2026.

Homecoming will also feature special reunion receptions for Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) alumni, Golden Graduate Society members from the Classes of 1975 and earlier, and former members of Pangkat Pilipino, celebrating its 30th anniversary.

And remember, Homecoming is for every 91涩漫 graduate. No matter your class year, come back to the 91涩漫 for a full day of celebration, connection and memorable moments with the 91涩漫 community.

Founders Mass

Join us for Founders Mass, a cherished tradition that celebrates our shared values and history. The Class of 1976 will be honored as Golden Graduates in recognition of their 50th reunion.

Homecoming dinner

Enjoy an elegant dinner accompanied by a special program featuring remarks from University and Alumnae Association leaders, followed by lively entertainment and dancing.

Complimentary parking will be available. Attendants will direct guests upon arrival.

Semi-formal or cocktail attire is encouraged for the cocktail reception and dinner program. We recommend shoes suitable for walking across campus walkways and outdoor surfaces for those attending multiple events throughout the day.

Yes, guests are welcome. Each guest must purchase a ticket if attending the Homecoming dinner. Entrance to the documentary screening, campus tours and Founders Mass is complimentary.

Yes, children are welcome. Tickets must be purchased for the Homecoming dinner for any child who will need their own seat. Babies or small children who do not require a seat do not require a ticket (however we appreciate advance notice of this so you are placed at a stroller-friendly table location.) The documentary screening, campus activities, and Founders Mass are complimentary and open to guests of all ages. Please note that Homecoming at the 91涩漫 is designed for adults and does not include dedicated children's programming or amenities.

Yes. A private place for nursing or pumping is available upon request. Please contact universityevents@msmu.edu by September 25 so we can ensure a room is reserved and ready for your use.

Yes. Campus tours will be held prior to Founders Mass. Sign up at the Welcome Table when you arrive. You’ll have the opportunity to visit familiar spots and see what’s new at the 91涩漫.

You may indicate any food allergies, dietary needs, or accessibility requests when completing your registration. We will do our best to accommodate all requests. 

Yes. Advance registration is required. We anticipate high interest and space is limited.

Yes, university photographers and videographers will be present throughout the evening. Event photos may be used in future 91涩漫 publications and digital platforms.
